Abigail Ormond is a dedicated and compassionate member of the clinical team at Raleigh Hearing and Tinnitus Center. As a North Carolina native, she is proud to serve patients in the state she calls home and is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-focused hearing care.
Abigail grew up in Kinston, North Carolina and attended East Carolina University, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Psychology. She is currently completing her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) at East Carolina University and is expected to graduate in May 2026.
Clinical Interests and Focus
Abigail’s audiology interests center on helping adults better understand and manage their hearing health. Her areas of focus include:
- Adult diagnostic hearing evaluations
- Hearing aid technology and fittings
- Tinnitus evaluation and management
She values taking the time to listen to patient concerns and believes that clear explanations and supportive care help patients feel confident throughout their hearing journey.
A Patient-Centered Approach
Abigail is passionate about audiology because it allows her to make a real difference in people’s daily lives. She is especially interested in helping individuals navigate hearing changes with understanding, encouragement, and practical solutions that support real-world communication.
When she’s not in the clinic or studying, Abigail enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, and relaxing with her pets. She values balance and brings that same sense of care and attentiveness to her work with patients.
