Bluetooth and Apps

- This class will review what to do if you have trouble connecting your hearing aids to your cell phone. The doctors will also talk about different apps that are available for various hearing aids as well as apps that help with tinnitus(ringing in the ears).
Hearing Protection and Conservation
- Wednesday, April 24th 1:30-2:30 & Tuesday, September 17th 4:00-5:00
- This course will provide a professional review of how to protect your hearing from loud sounds. The doctors will also give recommendations on specific hearing protection devices for activities like hunting, shooting, and more
Prescriptive Hearing Aids vs. Over the Counter
- Tuesday, May 21st 4:00-5:00 & Wednesday, October 23rd 1:30-2:30
- You have probably seen over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids on television or in the news. In this class, the doctors will talk about the difference between prescription hearing aids and OTC devices. If you are curious about the critical differences between the two options, this class is for you!
Assistive Listening Devices
- Wednesday, June 19th 1:30-2:30 & Tuesday, November 19th 4:00-5:00
- If you use hearing aids and feel like you still have trouble in certain environments, there are accessory devices that can be used with your hearing aids to help you hear even better! This can include devices to help you hear the TV more clearly, sets that translate phone calls, and microphones that can help make voices louder and background noise softer.
Listening vs. Hearing

- Hearing, understanding, and listening are three very different things. Do you often feel although you can hear someone, but not understand what they are saying? During this class, the doctors will give exercises and tips on how to listen and understand more efficiently.
